He discovered surfing in 1980. 2006 and 2008 french champion of surfing in « master » category. Ranked 11th and 8th at the 2007 and 2008 world surfing championship. He obtained his very first surf certificate in 1993 and has now two state-registered diplomas and five federal-registered diplomas in several sport disciplines (surf, ski, sport for all…).

From Guadeloupe, he started surfing at Le Moule in 1985. He traveled around the world from age 18 to 30, then became a surf teacher in 1997. Before settling in the Médoc he worked for the Arawak Surf Club in Guadeloupe, for the Saint Leu Surf Club in the Réunion Island and also in Tahiti.
